Google Workspace for Education: Updates Overview

Educators asked and Google listened! Many of the main feature updates for 2021 are for Google Classroom. You can also download Google's 1-page overview of all of these features and editions.

Google Meet’s infusion into the education field has guided much of the roadmap, with many of these features already live.

With all editions, including the free Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals, all co-teachers in a Classroom will have moderator controls such as mute all and end meeting for all.

Some of the other tools with significant updates include Docs, Forms, Jamboard, Sheets and Gmail.
